Our Technology
Intraoral Cameras
See your smile through our eyes with advanced imaging technology that provides a clearer view of your dental health.
What is an Intraoral Camera?
An intraoral camera is a small, handheld device that allows us to capture highly detailed images of your teeth, gums, and oral structures. While traditional dental exams and X-rays provide important information, an intraoral camera gives us an up-close view of areas that may otherwise be difficult to see.
This technology helps us identify concerns such as cracked teeth, plaque buildup, worn enamel, cavities around existing restorations, and other early signs of dental problems.
Most importantly, it allows you to see exactly what we see, helping you better understand your oral health and treatment options.
What We Can See
Cracked or Chipped Teeth
Small fractures can often be identified before they lead to larger problems
Plaque & Tarter Deposits
Dettailed imaging helps reveal buildup that may contribute to decay and gum disease.
Cavities Around Existing Fillings
Detect areas where decay may be developing beneath or around restorations.
Excessive Tooth Wear
Monitor enamel loss caused by grinding, clenching, or normal wear over time.
Gum Health Concerns
Capture detailed images that help evaluate gum tissue and overall oral health.
How Intraoral Cameras Work
1. QUICK IMAGING
A small camera, about the size of a dental mirror, is gently moved round your mouth.
2. REAL-TIME VIEWING
High- resolution images are displayed instantly on a nearby monitor.
3. DETAILED EXAMINATION
Your dentist reviews the images to identify areas of concern that may require attention.
4. INFORMED DECISIONS
Together, we discuss findings and treatment options so you make confident decisions about your care.
